Sports Massage is the management, manipulation and rehabilitation of soft tissues of the body including muscles, ligaments and tendons.
You don't have to be an athlete or even be involved in sport to benefit from a Sports Massage.
This type of massage concentrates on a specific area of pain or discomfort rather than the whole body and, as it involves deep tissue manipulation, can be uncomfortable or even painful at times.
However, the gain will be worth the pain and you will leave feeling looser and lighter than you did on arrival.
This is not the type of massage to choose if you want to relax to soothing music!
A Rossiter Workout targets the body's connective tissue which shortens and tightens when it becomes overused or injured. This can result in restricted movement and pain.
This technique uses weight and active stretching to loosen and lengthen the entire network of connective tissue to its natural state. When the tissue is normal again the pain goes away.
Most people feel relief after their first workout. However, it may take longer for long standing, chronic pain to disperse.
A session of Sports Massage or a Rossiter Workout costs £30.
